There were 2,318 Black students enrolled in Putnam County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 1.7% less than the previous year, according to the Florida Department of Education.

Data showed that Putnam County School District welcomed 10,293 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 22.5% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.
